Y lo mismo puede afirmarse de Schopenhauer en su condición de filósofo: un pensador atípico que se movió mejor entre imágenes que entre conceptos, prefiriendo comprender a explicar. Ambos arrojaron la sonda en las profundidades abismales de la existencia, no encontrando otro fondo que el de una extraña y oscura voluntad.
